MegaFon IFRS net profit more than halves to 3.202 bln rbl Jul–Sep

MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian mobile operator MegaFon including the impact of IFRS16 more than halved on the year to 3.202 billion rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Thursday.

Revenue increased 1.4% to 89.991 billion rubles.

Including the positive impact of IFRS 16, operating income before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) rose 15.8% to 38.97 billion rubles in the period, and the OIBDA margin grew to 43.3% from 37.9%.

Income from mobile services fell 1.5% to 71.236 billion rubles.

Capital expenditures went down 37.2% to 11.607 billion rubles.

The net debt decreased to 350.290 billion rubles as of September 30 from 360.601 billion rubles as of June 30.
